WestWing Recycling & Transfer Facility
The WestWing Recycling & Transfer Facility will serve residents and businesses in the City of Peoria & Maricopa County. As a mid-point for the transfer of local municipal solid waste, recyclables, green waste and construction and demolition waste, material from local garbage trucks will be transferred to larger tractor trailers that deliver consolidated material to recycling centers or landfills. The WestWing station is a best-in-class facility, making use of mister systems for odor controls, fencing to control debris and daily cleaning of the tipping floor.
